On longer trips it is good to have some tools along. LT's sturdy sidecase lids have hollows which can accommodate all kinds of oddments that you might on your long tour.

The recipe is simple. Here is the recess on the sidecase lid. And i'm in the process of installing Velcro strips on both side of the recess.

| Next I found some pieces of plastic carpet and I cut a piece that covers the recess. |

| Then I added the Velcro strips on the plastic cover. |
 |
| Then I added black duct tape to cover my carpet pieces. |
 |

On the other side recess I store some heavier tools.
